How to vote in the SCNG Guild election

Dear colleagues, 

Our election is finally here! Here are some voting instructions to help you through the process:

• Ballots will be mailed May 21. If you don’t receive a ballot within a few days of May 21, contact the NLRB at (213) 894-5254 to request a new one no later than May 28. May 28 is the deadline to request a new ballot.

• You should receive a kit containing the ballot, a yellow envelope, and a blue envelope. Like this:

• You are voting ‘yes’ or ‘no’ on whether you want the Media Guild of the West to represent us in bargaining. We are urging people to vote ‘YES.’ Mark the box. Do not mark anything else.

• Put the ballot inside the BLUE envelope, then put the blue envelope containing your ballot inside the YELLOW envelope, which should be self-addressed to return to the NLRB and does not require postage.

• Then sign the outside of the yellow envelope. Only sign your name. Do not write anything else.

• Please mail the ballot back as soon as possible. If your ballot is not back before the votes are counted at 10 a.m. on June 11, it will not be counted.

Follow the directions carefully! Your vote can be tossed for extra marks on the ballot or an unsigned envelope.
